Live And Let Die

August 8, 2010 § 1 Comment

Am avoiding doing any cleaning by talking on the phone, emailing and watching back to back Hitchcock and I’m now on to James Bond’s Live And Let Die which is probably my favourite Bond film ever.

Watching I was reminded of my Brother once being asked his name and replying: ‘names is for tombstones’.

This same boy (as he could only have been around 8 or 9) also told someone that ‘I take it black, like my women’ which he’d miss-quoted from Airplane, when asked at a dinner if he wanted coffee.

He did both in such a natural deadpan way that I of course was reduced to a giggling mess.

I’ve also added the video to Guns N Roses cover of the theme tune but only because it shows Axel with hair and lots of tartan and, oh, white undies…. and because it’s GREAT!
