Metal Madrid: Live Life With Chivalry
November 26, 2009 § 1 Comment
Just back from a few sunny days in Madrid as guests of Chivas and METAL Magazine where SIBLING hosted a party.
With music provided by Princess Julia, the Loewe creative team headed up by Stuart Vevers on hand to get the party started and a fight breaking out at the end it really was a little piece of London in Spain….
The next day over Breakfast Ingleses (eggs, bacon and deep fried mini-balls of potato… not quite sure what part of England this full English came from… Joe said ‘Kerry Katona’s kitchenette’) we chatted about Julia’s impressive playlist: Gina X for Joe and DAF for me and on the way to yet another shoot stumbled across a shoe shop for flamenco dancers…
I now want white boots!!!
Princess J brought a very neat pair of Day Heels in a pale beige…..
PS does anyone know WHY coffee in Madrid tastes so goddamn awful? Even the Spanish complained. Sid and I ran to Starbucks (correction I did like some saddo) only to find that it was still terrible. Oh and tea with hot froth anyone? Yep really. Sid had a Cuppa-ccino….
